Archway Gallery & Framing holds art classes for adults and children, offering instruction in a variety of mediums. Our instructors are local established artists well versed in their subjects. Classes are kept small, so that each student receives personalized instruction. With beginner and intermediate levels mingled together, our art classes help you take your next step.

Figure Painting Workshop by Paul Ladnier

Saturday and Sunday, scheduled for spring, possibly March, 9am to 4pm.

Price is  $200.**

This workshop will be conducted by Paul Ladnier and is designed to help the student develop a natural way of painting the unclothed human figure with emphasis on accurate, naturalistic interpretations. It will help the student learn to see, understand and accurately interpret the figure.  In studio painting sessions with live models, attendees, through a variety of exercises, will explore setting up the palette,  mixing color and flesh, painting form, shape, mass and anatomy, as well as a variety of painting techniques. The instructor will give demonstrations and explanations of procedures.
